Originally from Wales, flannel means "wool" in Welsh. But, nowadays, flannel is made mainly from cotton. During the manufacturing stage, the fabric is combed and brushed on one or both sides to give it a felt-like finish. Cotton flannel is very comfortable. It has a soft feel and keeps you warm in winter.
To avoid damage, cotton flannel can be machine-washed at up to 40°C, on a delicate cycle.
Use softener to keep the fabric soft. To avoid the fabric shrinking, we recommend leaving it to air-dry and avoiding tumble-drying.
